Demineralised water is a pure form of water where the colloidal minerals have been removed from the water. Non-pure water is passed through an ion exchange resin bed which filters out unwanted minerals. Demineralised water is most commonly used in laboratory or pharmaceutical settings for preparation and testing; however it is useful in a wide range of industries. It can be used as an electrical fire retardant due to its poor conductive properties, as well as for cleaning metal automotive parts. This product is not Pharma graded.
