History and Progress

Sustainability is ingrained in our operating philosophy; it touches our core values and is aligned with our purpose to help keep people healthy, fed, clean, and safe. It’s been a part of our journey since 2008:

 

2008 — we published our first report

2017 — we set our first sustainability goals, globally

2021 — having made significant progress at the end of 2021, we set out our second-generation goals to 2025

2023 — we enhanced our global ambitions by setting our public Scope 3 emissions goal to 2030

2025 — we made strong progress against our goals to 2025

2026 — we set out our 2030 goals and strategy, Growth Through Purpose

2030 and beyond — we’re focused on delivering our goals to 2030 and our net-zero ambitions for 2050
